Evaporation rate. In cases where a coating is more difficult to use than normal, you can add a solvent to the product to make the application easier. Choose a solvent with a medium-to-slow evaporation rate, and don’t forget to also check the manufacturer’s technical data sheets for acceptable solvents and amounts to add to your floor coating.
Humidity. Humidity can significantly shorten the pot life and cure time of polyaspartic coatings, so it’s important to keep your pot cool. Otherwise, your application won’t be successful. To prevent shorter pot life, make sure to keep the products out of direct sunlight. You can also chill or ice your material so that its temperature is cooler than the ambient temperature.
