FAQs

Q: What should I look for when selecting a company?

A: Choose a company with multiple local references a proven track record. Make sure you are getting a high quality product and certified/trained installers.

Q: Why should I pay someone to do my floor instead of using a DIY kit?

A: Many of our customers used a DIY kit in the previous year before they called us for help. The Guardian Garage Floors process guarantees a finished product that lasts for the lifetime of the floor. No DIY kit can say that!

Q: How is your product different from other products on the market?

A: The patented blend Guardian Garage Floors uses to coat and protect your floor is a specialized polyaspartic/polyurea blend that is 20 times stronger and 5 times more flexible than epoxy. This means it can withstand wear and tear better and is less affected by changes to temperatures. It is a better product all around.

Q: How is your preparation different from other companies?

A: Our installers are specially trained using the highest quality equipment and techniques to ensure an unbreakable bond between the prepared floor and our product. We are able to warranty our floors because we use proper practices to guarantee they will not fail.

Q: What’s the best way to evaluate if a floor coating will last?

A: A prep/moisture reading to the surface being covered will ensure the bond between floor and coating will withstand the test of time.

Q: Do you warranty the finished floor?

A: Yes. We offer a lifetime guarantee on all floors. The warranty covers any failure of the products installed by Guardian Garage Floors and delamination of those products. The Warranty is also transferable to the next homeowner for a period of 15 years!

Q: Can you fix the cracks in my floor?

A: Yes, we use a polyaspartic filler to seal cracks and prepare the filled areas with the rest of the floor for a seamless finished product.

Q: How long does it take to install a floor?

A: Most residential floors and many commercial floors can be installed in one day. Larger floors can take longer to complete.

Q: When can I walk and drive on my floor after installation?

A: Guardian Garage flooring systems can be walked on in a matter of hours (usually just four hours) and can be driven on 24 hours after job completion.

Q: Will the Guardian Garage Floors system prevent future stains?

A: A properly installed, high quality floor coating system should be impervious to oil, grease, mud, road salts, and nearly everything in between. A call to Guardian Garage Floors will answer your specific questions about your garage floor stains.
